The committee reviews- existing specialist categories with a view to update/ amend the;  existing minimum standards for training and registration as veterinary specialist; and is responsible for the monitoring of standards and training of the prescribed MMedVet post graduate qualifications, the holders of which are accepted for automatic registration as specialists.

The Chairpersons of all committees are members of Council
